George Elias Sayour grew up in
South Florida where he played
basketball, ran cross-country, and threw
the discus on the track team all through
high school.  He went on to study
Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

During this time, he cultivated his love
for the outdoors and passion for extreme
sports.  Upon graduation from RPI,
George accepted a job with Procter and
Gamble at their site in Pennsylvania.
After 5 years of long hours and scarce
personal and spiritual  fulfillment,
George walked away from his  successful
career as a mechanical engineer and
manager to follow God’s plan for his life.

Having heard God's call to make serious changes in his life, George moved back
to Florida and became a certified High School Math and Physics Teacher.  After a
short period of time, George was named Teacher of the Year and  promoted to
Director of Admissions of the school.  During these 5 years George further
honed his faith through his roles of Faculty Faith Sharing Leader, Encounter
Retreat leader, and Student Life Group Leader.

It was at this time that George decided to write a book to help others live out
God's plan for their lives and thus
Plans To Prosper You was born.  God has used
this book to open many doors for George and he has since decided to leave
teaching to explore these new opportunities which include speaking at
conferences and retreats, helping people to live a balanced life, encouraging
them to use their gifts to help others, and of course, more writing.  George is
also a writer for the NY Times owned About.com Paddling site.

But now for the best part of the story.  Upon moving back to FL, George was
reintroduced to an old friend he hadn't heard from in 10 years.  1 year later, in
the fall of 2004, George and Susan were married.  They just has their first child
last year and are experiencing all of the joys a new life brings.
